Yes today is my birthday! i wanted to write and say thank you for all the lovely birthday wishes i have received, and also for your generous love and support. I couldn't do what i do with out you! i am very lucky and very, very grateful.
Been a while since i've written. Been ensconced in world of construction as we have been building our european base here in Transylvania. It has come a long way and it feels really good to have created something so tangible. I can look at the floors and walls and kitchen cabinets and know we built that. We painted these walls. We laid that tile. Spending so much time on the road and knowing i will always be traveling more, it's nice to know that this home will always be here when i need it. With homemade preserves in the cellar and apples trees in the yard.
We head back on the road in a few weeks with Fiesta City festival in Belgium, then back to the old US of A and the Homestead Music Festival in my old stomping grounds of Mill Valley, CA and on up the coast and to the southwest. Dates on the calendar as new shows are added.

The (not just for) kids record "Just for Fun" won Best Album of 2011 at the Kids Music Awards! We had a lot of fun making this record and are so pleased and honored to receive such prestigious accolades and prodigious praise.
